THE HEN WEEKEND!!!!!

I had so much fun this weekend. We met so many nice people, it was fantastic. Everyone was so lovely. WE were all surprised how easy everyone got along. We didn't want it to end.

The holiday started off with a bottle off Champagne at Gatwick Airport, and just got better from then on in.

Astrid, Christie and Myself order 3 bottles of alcohol and 2 mixers each, for our 2hr 30min flight. AStrid and myself needed more. But I felt abit light headed when we landed, so it was good I didn't.

We chatted the whole time in the air. I also had the window seat (which I love to sit, so I can look out at the landscape, which is always amazing).

Night One was suppose to be a quiet few drinks, but ended with a few extra drinks. It was a fantastic introduction to everyone. We went to a tacky karaoke bar. It had all this memorabilia on the walls. It was good tho. It's how we want our pub in away (just not so cluttered with stuff) so all our travels will be on display and a talking point for everyone that comes over.

These are the red shoes for my "SUPERMAN" outfit, but had to wear them for the first night to protect my feet. I love how red they are. These are my favourite shoes at the moment.
This was our typical position the who holiday(during the daytime), unless we mad a trip to the beach (which was also awsome. The boys were quite delicious). It was just nice to lounge around, or play Marco Polo, or swimming races, or see who could hold their breathe the longest, or gossip, or see who could balance on the chair in the water. Oh, I just wanna be back there.

I love to experiement with my food, so on the second night I had to try frogs legs. My face on the previous photo doesn't give the right description on how it tasted. It was really nice, just weird that I was eating legs of a frog. The image was worse than the taste. I'd have them again if they were dished up. I also had fish with it's head on (which I don't usually like) but was absolutely delicious.
Thgis is the most flattering photo of the whole trip. Bless Louisa, she didn't want this photo taken.
Jess, Alex and Marleen. These Big Kebab sticks in the centre of the tables were absolutely amazing. I had king prawns on mine (mmmmmmmmmmmmmm).
Alice and Ciara at dinner.
Oh my mouth is just watering looking at this photo.
Jess is just so lovely. She was classic all holiday. She's so bubbly and lovely.
We gave Christie a book about memories that everyone has got of her. She ended up crying from happiness. It was really sweet.

This is of our page. Pictures of the staff party and when Christie wore the florescent jacket. Oh she is great. We are going to miss her.
I was hammered at this point, and don't know what the hell I'm up there for and what I'm doing with that thing in my croutch. As far as I know, I wasn't up there for long, which is a good thing (less time to make a twat of myself).

Caitlyn and Sharrelle posing. These girls were absolutely lovely, but completely different. Sharrelle was all ditsy and said anything that was on her mind. Caitlyn was abit ditsy but quite girly and lovely. They both were a laugh.
I was looking at this photo for ages then actually figured out why it was taking. Ian was perving on this guy. He is quite fit. Just wish I was sober enough to remember him.
Astrid did her typical thing after drinking. Passing out in the pub. She looks alittle like an alien in this photo. Bless he cottons.

Ian and Christie were posing for photo's for ages, at the end of this night. There's about a collection of 8 photo's in all of different poses. This photo, Christie was yelling at Ian " kiss me on the lips!" which she tends to yell at anyone around when she's drunk. She's so funny when she is at that stage.
OUR DRESS-UP NIGHT. It was so awsome. i was really embarrassed walking down to the restaurant, cause everyone was loooking at us and making comments to me. But I did make a young kids day. I was walking down to the Villa to see everyone else for the first time, and this car drove past. Inside there was a young boy (I could read his lips of what he was saying) said to his parents "Look Mummy, It's Superman." and he had the biggest grin on his face. Then his Dad stuck his thumb up at me. It was just great. I still was embarrassed.

Everone looked so fantastic. There was a variety of characters, which just showed how different everyone was aswell. We ended up coming to the conclusion that we were dressing up as our alter-ego's. We wanted to be these characters we were dressed up as. The weird thing was, I've never watched "Superman", I came up the idea for Ian as "Rambo", Astrid has never watched "Tomb Raider".

I was pointing at the place I woke up in after the second night out. I apparently ran of at the end of the night. And Ciara dragged Ian out to look for me. Ian was saying " he'll be alright. He always does this." Which is true. I really thought I was in my bed when i woke up before I opened my eyes. Then I realised I was outside, which was really weird.

I kept having to pose like I was flying over the view. I felt like a prat, but the photo's turned out quite well.
Da "Pink Ladies".
Jess looked really good as Marilyn Monroe. At times she did look like Christina Aguilera (as she looks now). She loved it. It was like she had practised all of Marilyn's poses. She was amazing.

Jess even went on stage to sing "Hey Jude". She has a beautiful voice. It was great. I got a video of it. It could give you goosebumps, just listening to it. I can't wait to hear her at the wedding.

Everyone started to get han=mmered by this point.
She looks like she has E.T. fingers with the penises on her fingers. I was in tears when I saw this.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW........ I love this photo of the four us.

We have no idea why Ian had his pants down to his ankles, but when we first saw this the next day (no-one remembers it being taking, cause we all were ablitterated), everyone was in fits of laughter. Oh how funny.

This just sums up how drunk everyone was. It was such a great night.

This group of people were local Portagese. They were so nice. I kept flirting with the guy in blue and the guy in the black and white. Not the most flattering photo of them but woof. Ian was following the guy in red like a sheep (his words) because he was bi. Apparently the two I was flirting with were also gay, but we didn't go back to the invitation that we got to go back the next night at 10.30.
This is Christie dacing during her Karaoke session. Love it.
Ian, Alice and myself went to the beach (drunk)to go for a swim. I was climbing up rocks. I even went for a run with a Portagese family. They looked at me like "What the fuck are you doing?" they couldn't speak English, so i just ran off again. It was so much fun.

This was just a random sausage that fell on the floor, that we all thought was so funny cause we were all hungover and overtired. We all had the giggles all that day.
This is me passed out uner a tree. i didn't sleep all night so it was well needed.
This is Chris our queer cat. He kept visiting us when we went back to the apartment to get ready. Ian loved this cat.

Our flight was delayed from 9pm to 11.30pm. So we had to fill in time by playing with this kiddie's ride. We also went in to Duty Free and smelling all the fragrences. I stunk by the end of it. You could sniff up my arm and get 5 different smells, per side of my arms. It was horrible. I ended up going into the toilet to wash it all off. But it didn't do much. Astrid was also looking at sunglasses, and put the glasses she was trying on back, and then they fell and knocked about 5 other pairs off. It was funny, I had to walk away. Then she followed, without putting the glasses back up.

It was so amazing. I really can't wait to see these people again at the wedding. Roll on next Thursday.

I'm glad Christie had a fantsatic Hen Weekend. So many memories for her (and the rest of us). We all had fun.

Portugal - Faro

Yay.... today's the day we fly out for the Hen Weekend. I'm so excited.

We are just waiting for Astrid to come and pick us up before the cab takes us to Christie's then to the Gatwick. I'm all gittery. I can't wait to get there. Loads of drinking, sunbaking, eating, relaxing.........yay.

I'll let you know how it went when I get back. But I don't want it to end already.

See you again in a couple of days.

Thought Of The Day!

How important does a person have to be before you are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

A Beautiful Thing

This movie is so sweet. I'm a sucker for teenage "coming-out" movies. They are always so sweet. Another of my favourites is Get Real. But this is better. I think Kirsten still has our copy of this movie, which I need to get back before we go home.

This movie also helped my love for Mama Cass. She is just amazing.
We've even seen the play in London, Soho. It was fantastic. The black girl was classic. And the guy in the glasses was fucking hot. The play was in a very intimate theatre. I would love to see it again. I think it's started again, in the same theatre. I'll have to find out.

Boys On The Side

This movie was on the tele last night. It's one of my all-time favourites. Everytime I cry in it. Where Whoopi Goldberg sings the song at the end, Oh man, everytime.

I wanna try and get this on DVD but can't find it anywhere. But I'm not gonna give up.

Late Night TESCO-ing

When Ian got home last night, him and Booski wanted to go to TESCO's. So we made a trip just for the sake of it. It's was pretty cool.

It's the best time to go shopping because there is hardly anyone around. the only downfall of late night shopping is that you can't buy alcohol (but that wasn't the purpose for our shop last night). We left at 1am.

It was the cheapest and heathiest shop we have done with late night shopping (that's probably because we used to go with Yaz and she's a bad influence to shop with. hehehe). we bought lunch for today. And I thought I'd try Duck and Orange Pate (it's not bad actually. So I have breakfast for the next three days).

Booski didn't buy anything, she just wanted to go for a ride. Bless her cottons.....

Dinner

If it's any consilation, the pizza was amazing. The Wine Gums, yummy as hell. Haven't quite made it to the icecream yet, but I'm sure they'll be fucking amazing.

Saw My Dentist

I went to Vikki's to get me some dinner and desert. While I was queing (with a pizza, coke, wine gum pastiles, and 2 icecreams) my dentist walks in. I felt really uncomfortable and couldn't look him in the eye, I was really embarressed.

Now, I think it's quite funny. Like getting caught by your parents doing something you shouldn't. I'm not looking forward to the next time I have to go to the dentist now.

Dentists must love me. Listening to their advice a shit. hehehe

Night Off!

Yay, I got the night off work. So that means I only have 3 shifts left. Woo for Me.

I'm gonna do alittle packing tonight, and clean the room, so it's all good for when we get back. There's nothing better than getting home from holiday with a clean room. (Sad I know).

Christie, Astrid, Ian and me were all talking about Portugal, today at work. Not much got done, but have planned our taxi to get us to the airport, and return trip back. What we need for the beach (Cards, MP3 Players ect.). What Astrid is taking (she's gonna need 2 cases for the amount she's taking). I'm so excited. Not long now. I just don't want it to end (even before it's started).

A Liam Show

This Guy is so fucking funny. I came across a music video of his called "Shoes", I was pissing myself all through it. I thought I'd give him a mention here cause everyone needs to have a listen (even if it's just the music video).

To just see the video go to:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnWuCWOTFJM

Or to go to his website at:
http://www.liamshow.com/index.html

Don't bother watching Hard Hitting (cause it's not that funnyt, stupid more than funny)

I might even contemplate buying the video. It's that funny.

Photo's from the Drunken Night Before

As promised, here are the photo's from last night. I still laugh when I see these. It was such a good night. hehehe.

I'm gonna miss Booski when she goes. :(

Drunk Once Again

Last Night, me and Alicia (Booski) had a few drinks after work and didn't pass out until after the sun came up. It was so much fun. Had Pete Murray playing in the background. WE also took some photo's of us piss farting around. I'll post them once I get the camera from Booski's room.

I don't feel too bad today. Slight headache, but nothing to horrendous. I have to work today, just hope that Ian tries his hardest to get me off. It's really quiet for a Saturday Night 73 people, I won't be needed if it stays like that. I have my fingers crossed.

1 Year Anniversary - 7/7 London Bombings

It's exactly 1 year today, when 4 twats decided to kill themselves (and others) on London transport. It was a horrific tragedy of terrorism. Thankfully I was nowhere to be seen near London on that day, I was in the safe walls of work. But it still has an impact on you no matter if you were involved or not.

This is the closest I've ever been to terrorism and it's bloody scary. It can happen anywhere. I just can't understand why anyone would want to blow people up! or even themselves for that matter. It's just crap.

Memoirs Of A Geisher

This movie was awesome. The cinematograpy was wikkid. I wanna go to Japan after watching this. The landscape looks awesome. The movements of a Geisher, when they dance, is amazing.

This movie deserves all the awards it recieved when it was released (3 Academy Awards, 3 BAFTA's and even a Golden Globe, just to name a few).

If you haven't seen this movie, do so.
Check out the official website to learn more about the movie. Visit http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/memoirsofageisher/index.html

Work

I start my 1st of 7 nights in a row, before I go to Portugal. Can't Wiat. 10 more shifts and then it's PARTAY!

It's gonna be so good. I got the sheet for my cape yesterday (which I still have to make) and we got most of Ian's costume(he's just gonna go to Chertsey to get a gun holster to finish it off). We both are gonna look wikkid. I'll post the pictures when I get back.

Squash

We went and played squash again today. It's the first time for ages since we have played. It was a bit of a struggle after last night piss up in Windsor for Tamara's Going away do. Adam was really hung-over and Tamara gave up playing against me cause I kept beating her. It was great to relieve tension of the past weeks work.

Britney nearly drops Baby

She nearly dropped her own baby. She was holding a drink in her other hand when she was trying to manouvre through a crowd. She suddenly tripped and her baby's hat flew off his head as he jerked backwards. Wow, she is just adding to her class (White-trash).

Celebrity News

I can't wait. This "Stupid Girl" is a pain in the rectum. She is a useless human-being with no talent what so ever.

Celebrity Shocker #2

Ozzy you can't do that to your daughter. That's just gross. i just came across this photo and couldn't believe my eyes. Naughty Daddy.

Lily Allen

Lily Allen's "Alright Still" is a fantastic album. It's a breathe of fresh air, with her "don't give a toss" lyrics. My new favourite album.

My favourite is "Not Big". She's having a dig at an ex-boyfrriend. Very good lyrics.hehehe

The Royal Albert Hall

Last Night's concert was fantastic.

All the acts (except Boy George) were awesome. Heather Small and Tina C were my favourites. Heather has such an amazing voice. It's the second time I've seen her preform and she's still great. Elton John wasn't too bad either. He wasn't as good as I thought he might be, but still I can say I've seen him perform now.

Boy George was rubbish. He stayed for one song (not even his most famous song) and you couldn't hear him, and he's just a has-been queen.

Ruby Wax and Jennifer Saunders were there, but only stayed on stage for only a couple of minutes. I wished they stayed for alittle longer. They are classic.

All in all, it was a good night. Except for the trip home. The concert took longer than expected , so when it all finished, the tubes were all closed. So we had to take a NighBus back to where we parked the car. 2 hours later we got to the car and we then still had to drive to drop off Matt and get us home. It was such a faff.

England Lose The World Cup

The Highlight of yesterday was, England losing to Portugal in the Quater Finals. Being in London made it even better.

When we were eating Pizza Hut for dinner (as the match was ending), there was a riot on the street right outside the restaurant. The first came a swarm of noise from the disappointed English Fans, the a wave of Riot Police followed. It was great to experience, but I was so glad to be inside. It looked quite scary. The police were not impressed. Photographers were trying to get photo's and were getting told "Fuck Off You Twat" because they were just getting in the way.

It's was funny in a way.

EuroPride

Yesterday was quite disappointing. The sun was out and the weather was lovely. But the parade was crap and Trafalgar Square Rally was boring as hell. We ended up coming home at 9.30 to watch a movie.

I had a smashing headache in the morning, and those bloody whistles were doing my head in. I didn't drink that mucha t all yesterday, cause there was an incling that we were going to be coming home earlier than planned, so I didn't drink as much. I was also nackered from the past week of work, which didn't help matters at all.

There were no Dyke's on Bikes and there was no sign of the Ruby boy's either (which I'm quite shocked at).

Oh well, I get to go to The Royal Albert Hall tonight to see the concert. Elton John, Heather Small. Hopefully, it'l be good.
