Leaving/Coming Home Party

Yesterday, we had our coming home party at Kasey's place. It is weird being back, like we haven't gone anywhere. I didn't take any photo's of the night (Cause the camera was left behind), but I do have the photo's form the Leaving party which would be more interest for most of you. Fire Aftermath

Today we went to the house to have a scrumage around the place to see what we could find. I obviously got burnt on my shoulders (no surprise there). It was interesting what we found....

The blue jug above was on the secon floor on top of the cupboards in the kitchen. It fell all that way and was undamaged.

This is my first ever cutlery set I bought when I first moved out of home. Its from Target. All the set was origanally on here but when I picked them up they fell off. But was still a good find.
Above is the only suvoneir I bought in Egypt.
Here is a suvoneir from Greece. They were coasters of Greek Porn basically.
This is one of Sue's Lilyput Lanes that she collects. All the paint has gone and is slightly damages but the detail is still there.
Here are my 2 Eeyore Mugs that I loved. The mug above was intact completely which is really amazing.

House Fire (12th December 2006)

These are the horrible photo's of Sue and Dave's house burning down. Not very pleasant to look at these knowing that all our stuff was in the house but we can't do anything now.

Bearer Of Bad News

I know I haven't been updating much lately, but been busy with sorting things before we go home and the laptop hasn't been working for ages.

Anyway, this post is to inform people who don't already know:

There was a fire on Tuesday 13th Dec, which got out of control and burnt down Ian's Parents house. Everyone is ok, but everything was lost. Some 58 year old idiot was burning rubbish behind his house and the fire got out of hand (there is a complete fire ban around Australia bythe way). All our belongings that got shipped over was in the house aswell.

It's been a very stressful few days. Ian is safely back in Aus with his family, and unfortunately I still have 2 more days left in England before i get back.

I promise the next post won't be so shocking and depressing but I thought you should know.

Nearly The End

Today we worked out all teh shifts we have left before we go. All the rotas have been written, and it's final........

IAN HAS 26 SHIFTS LEFT


How awesome is that. I'm counting down the days.

We have 1 and a half Sundays left......
A month and 3 days left before my flight......
2 and a half weeks til our leaving do........

Tom C's Going Away Drinks

Last night we had a boys night out for a going away do for Tom. It was a great evening. We went to the Cricketers for a few drinks, which then led us to Cameleon in Woking (nobody actually wanted to go to Cameleon, but didnt want the night to end). We all got really drunk, so it must of been a good evening.

Phil, Straver, Walker, Tom, Tommy, Michael, Myself and Ian all went out.

Lauren's Birthday (Halloween)

Have you ever seen Harry Potter Drunk?

Well you have now.

It was a fantastic evening spending it with Lauren and her friends. We all were shitfaced, and getting our jig on at The Oceana in Kingston. I've never celebrated anyones birthday on Halloween before. Any excuse to dress up I spose. Loved it.

Little Britain

We saw Little Britain Live on Monday with Ian's parents.It was classic, I had the biggest pains in my sides from Laughing so hard. We went as a surprise present for Ian's Parents, which they seemed to enjoy. I'm glad we got the tickets for the extra shows because I tried to get some last year but were all sold out by the time we realised that we were staying for the year.




We've now got more tickets booked for March next year because Joanne wants to go see it (they are coming to Perth by the way) so she twisted our arms (not much twisting was needed tho). So I can't wait. The only downfall of having to wait that long is that we are going to have the DVD before we see it again.............
