News At Hand

I fucking washed my Passport................................................

I have to get another before I go home....... 7 weeks away..... not impressed.

Our Packing

Here are the joys of our life while we were packing our boxes to ship back home. It was a shithole for awhile......but thankfully are on their way home.

Tent

I just noticed that I haven't posted any of my own photo's on the blog for about 7 weeks, so I thought I'd post our lovely headquarters for the time that Ian's parents are staying with us. Thankfully (at the moment) we are in our own bed, but unfortunately it doesn't last....on Saturday we have to go back in and sleep in luxury....hehehehe

It's really not that bad. It's quite cosy and cuddly.

Lauren's Birthday

For Lauren's Birthday (which is on Halloween) we are all dressing up and going out to Oceana. I'm going as Harry Potter. The theme she came up with was Superheroes/Disney Characters. I didn't particularly wanna go as Eeyore or anything like that (and I shipped my Superman Outfit back home, so I couldn't even reuse that outfit, altho it would of beena bit too cold to wear that in England). So that's going to be abit exciting. Havent spoken to her for ahile to see what's ahppening, I spose I should do that soon.

Hen's Reunion Update

It was an awesome night out. We went out to Twickenham (dunno how to spell it) and got quite drunk.

It started off at Christies Mum's house where we all were to meet before going into town. Upon arrival, we found a fake hand, so decided to play jokes with it for the rest of the night. We were all in fits of laughter. We drank quite alot before we left, so there were a couple of people who were well on their way before stepping foot out of the house. We ended up walking to The Cabbage Patch, which is right in town. There was a huge debate about how far it really was (eventually it would of taken about half a hour walk) altho we did stop in a wine bar on the way (forced Astrid to drink a Manhatten, cause she said she'll have what I'm drinking and found the worst thing I could imagine having).

When we actually arrived to The Cabbage Patch, we had to pay £10 entry per head (we couldn't believe it, but paid cause we had no choice). The music started off shit, but improved as the night went on. We were all shouting to the music (and I woke up with the sorest throat, which I'm still suffering with). It was a great night out. I didn't go to bed til about 5am Sunday morning. And with only 5 hours sleep worked last night (which just dragged on, all I wanted to do was sleep).

Hen's Reunion

Tonight we are going out with the girls we were out with on the Hen Weekend. I can't believe it's already 3 months since we were in Portugal. It's gonna be nice cause we haven't seen these girls since the Wedding. Unfortunately the only person I know that won't be there is Alice (cause she's got other plans) but I think everyone else will be there (I know Jess is, Yay).

Our Tent Experience

The tent isnt as bad as I first thought. The first night out in the tent was awful. It was bloody cold and uncomfortable, but we have now fixed these problems and the past few nights sleep have been quite good. You hear all the noises from around the Counsil Estate, but other than that it's pretty good.

London

We took Ian's parents into London today. We went mainly shopping, visiting Hamley's, Lilywhites, Harrod's (where we bought some Christmas decorations) and wandered around Oxford Street and Regent Street.

Our legs were killing us by the time we finished walking.

Now we are relaxing watching Little Britain.

Dentist

It was my last visit for the dentist in England. I had to get a tooth extracted (which is still numb but really gross). I'm glad I don't have to go again for awhile. It's still bleeding (which isn't very nice).

Ian's Parents

Ian's parents arrive on Saturday, and we have to sleep in a tent (B&B's are too expensive to rent for 2 weeks). I hope the weather stays nice (cause I wont be able to handle camping in wet weather (or a thunder storm, I'd get scared).......

We'll see how it goes.....

Am excited to see his parents again tho......it's been nearly a year since I saw them over christmas last year...........

P!NK

SHE WAS FUCKING AWESOME....................................................................

We just booked more tickets to go see her on the 4th of December for my birthday. I'm so excited. It was so bloody good. She's such a fantastic performer, and her voice is fucking amazing.

The highlight was "Dear Mr President". It was just so touching and you know she believes every word she is singing when you watch her perform it. Its just so good. Another was her rendition of 4 Non Blondes "What's Up". Everyone knew the song and was singing there hearts out to it.

I can't wait to go and see her again. I have to go see her in Aus aswell, so if anyone finds out dates for a Perth concert let me know so I can purchase a couple of tickets.

P!NK

1 More sleeps til I get to see PiNK again. i can't wait. I'm getting all excited. We also have been given Luke's car (Anthony's son) til the time we leave. Which is really good timing, cause now we can drive and not worry about catching cabs and the underground ect. (Anthony is a sweety).

PiNK ROCKS!

Oldies Dinner

Last night we went out to dinner with Kirsten, Guy, Anthony, Caroline, Jill, Neil, Kiara and a lady from Eversley. We went to Pizza Palace in Camberley. It was a really good evening. We ended up being the customers we hate (last people in the restuarant and sitting there for about an hour after the last table) but it was great.

We are going to another night out in November sometime (if it gets organised). I hope it does, cause it was a really good night.

QUAKE

We had a ball at Quake the other night. We got really hammered and Ian got kicked out of the club. But there was no reason for it. ALl he was doing was dancing and then all of a sudden was asked to leave. So it finished prematurely but probably a good thing, cause Ian ended up being sick when we got home, and then all Sunday.

Sunday shift didn't feel like it was gonna end. But we eventually got through it.
