QUAKE

Tomorrow night we are going to Quake Nightclub in Woking for a Gay Night. It's gonna be really weird, WOKING GOING GAY...........it'll be very interesting.

We then have to work a 12 close on the Sunday, with a major hangover. It's gonna be horrible.

The things we do to ourselves........

Gangs Of London

I can't stop playing this game. Ever since I've got my PSP, I haven't stopped playing it when I get home. This is the first time in a few weeks that I've actually gone on the computer. Change of scenery.

PSP Arrives

My PSP arrived today, I was so excited when I got back from squash and found it sitting on the counter. It charging now, so when we get back from shopping (I have to buy a memory stick for it, and some glue for my Memory Book) the battery should be charged by then and I can play. Yay for me.

Email

I just got an email saying that my PSP was shipped yesterday and should take 1 business day to arrive.......

SO hopefully I should get it tomorrow........FINGERS CROSSED.

Boxes Are Gone

The guy came to pick up our boxes today. He was 2 hours late, but that was due to an accident on the M25. It took him an hour to go 1 mile. But bless him, he came out even tho it was after he was scheduled to have knocked off work.

It's scary now. It shows that we are actually going home.

Neighbours

This has to be the best line in any TV Show:
(There is a search for Paul Robinson in the Bush. They then mention that they have to finish the search party in a few hours cause of the light).
Paul's Ex Wife: They will get hurt.
Izzy: That's what they get paid for.
Paul's Daughter: Izzy, they are volunteers.

I just Rode The Ram on the AussieBum website and won a voucher for AU$3 off. I also got the 47th highest score. Have a look on www.aussiebum.com and click on ride the ram panel. You can see me 47 Ashley N. it's very exciting....... hehehhe

Christmas Shit...

Supermarkets and Shops are already putting out shit for Christmas...how scary is that...... it comes around so quickly...... those annoying Christmas Carols, all those presents to buy, all that food to eat.........

CAN'T WAIT.

Finished Packing

I forgot to tell you all tha we finished our packing the other day, so we just have to organise a day with the shipping company to come pick the boxes up. Our whole lives fit in 8 Boxes. How scary is that. Our whole lives seem to come down to 8 boxes. Ah well that's only all the superficial shit tho isn't it. Just hope it all gets home safely......... then it'll be christmas and we can see all of it again....... be like our own little presents to each other.....hehehe.

Laid Off Early

I got laid off early for lunch today. So I have and extra hour and a half break before I have to work again tonight........I'm so happy. These past few weeks have gone so quick, and the less I have to work, the quicker the following weeks will go. It's only 11 more weeks til I'm back on home soil.....can't wait.

Super Monkey Ball Adventure

I WON IT............................................Yay for me. I'm getting excited about getting my PSP. Just wish it was here now. It's weird, I haven't played a computer game (which I owned) for ages, I think I was about 16/17 with my Playstation 1...i think. It's been ages anyway.

Jill Goldberg

Shock, by Jill Goldberg, is one of many photo's of her collection "End Times" which has provoked an uproar in the art community and the public. Poeple are saying that Jill has been abusing these children while taking the photo's, by stipping them of their clothes and giving them a lollipop and then taking it away from them to get a reaction.

Personally, I think these photo's are very emotional and powerful. Jill took these photo's to portray her view on how people are feeling anxiety to how the politics of her country (America) are ruining the future. She's stated "Sometimes I feel like crying with the way things are going." As for abuse, these photo's were taken under the supervision of the parents, so if Jill should be accused of abuse, then so should the parents for letting them be taken in this state. I don't think that there is anything wrong with these photo's, because I believe there would be no long term damage from the candy being taken away from the children. She ended up giving the candy back after a minute or two after the photo's were taken.

It would be great to hear your opinions on this topic. So please leave a comment. I have some websites on the side bar for people to have a look at if anyone is interested.

Cornwall Trip

WE are now back from Cornwall........ It was beautiful down there. We stayed in Exeter (awful people there......don't seem to smile and have awful customer service). I made a twat of myself when Ian asked me to get the registration number from the car. I didn't know where it was, and asked him "Where abouts is it?". Ian was pissing myself laughing, and when I found out what it was, We couldn't stop laughing....the lady behind the counter didn't even smirk, let alone look like it was funny. I was quite embarresed but saw the funny side of it....... I was still pissing myself randomly for a few hours later.

We then went over to Newquay, where we stayed for 3 nights. The people here were much nicer. We stayed in a place, like they kept referring it to, which resembled "Faulty Towers". The Manager was Gay and so fucking funny, the staff seemed to enjoy working with him, and there was also this really hot guy bringing in the bags from the coaches (known as The Pretty Boy).

While away, we went to the Eden Project (which was a really good few hours). We also went down to Land's End (which wasn't much, but good to say that we went there. It was really for Ian's Dad, so Ian gave them a call while we were there). We also visited Goonhilly Earth Station (as you already know) which was also pretty good (to my surprise). Ian really wanted to go, so I agreed and really enjoyed it at the end.

It sucks to be back in Chobham, cause I know I have to work again in a couple of days. We also have to finish our packing which seems to be never-ending.

We have a couple of photo's which I'll add later when they get onto the computer...I'm too lazy at the moment to do it.......so keep a lookout....

Goonhilly Earth Centre

As most of you would of recieved, I sent an email with the address of where you can find a photo of us from Goonhilly. It was a free chance to get a photo of us (we also got the chance, for 5 mins to chat overseas, so I rang my mum). Instead, I thought it'd be better for me to just put it on my blog rather than you go through all the faff to find it on the website.

So here it is......................

Squash

Just got back from Squash. Michael and Lauren ended up coming aswell. It's the first time Lauren ever played, so the two of them were left alone while she was learning. It was a fun hour.

We are suppose to be in Woking now, but Deon has just called, so we have been talking to him for about 10 mins now. He's all good as is Celine. They have just left The Bahama's and are on their way to Miami. They are on the water at the moment. He first rang and when I answered the phone, I heard "Hello Mr Roper" so I hung up thinking that it was one of those call centres that keep calling us. I felt bad when he told it was him....but it's quite funny.........I shouldn't be so rude..hehehe

We are finishing our packing for the rest of the day (after Woking) and then we are going to be going to Pantiles for dinner, but we aren't going out clubbing, which is good cause we are nackered and need to be off early tomorrow morning....so it's a good idea....but a shame....I just wanna have a good night out with everyone........

OK...we are now off to Woking............xx

Holiday Time!

Yay...just finished work. And now in holiday mode......

Tonight we are meeting Carolyn (haven't seen her in ages) for a few drinks and dinner. I think we might be going to The Cricketers........ if we do, we are going to meet up with Tamara and Lauren. Yay for us.

We had a lightning storm last night, after a beautiful sunny day all day. Now it's really miserable outside. Hopefully the weather recovers so we can enjoy the beach alittle while we are down there. Fingers crossed.......

Tomorrow's a funfilled day aswell. We are playing squash with Ads and Tamara. Which will then be followed by a picnic with a couple of other people and then to go out at Pantiles in the evening. WE are going to have a group of Blubeckers staf (mixture recent or past staff), which will be awesome. We both can't drink too much because we are off early the next morning to go see Tom and Sarah before our little road trip.

So this will probably be my last entry until we get back next week.....depending on how tomorrow goes. So Ciao for now........and I'll be able to post some photo's for you guys..........

Monday

2 more easy shifts before we go onholiday.....yay................

I'm just in my break. I'm eating a couple of rows of Cabdury' Bubbles. It's fucking amazing with a glass of coke, listening to the "Arctic Monkeys". What a fab way to spend the afternoon.

Saturday

Today we had to work an early shift (which didn't seem to want to end). It just dragged on. When it hits 3 O'clock on an early shift, my mind goes straight to being at home, so for those 2 1/2 hours left to work is just crap. Everyone comes in for dinner so you just chat everyone thats eating so you don't have to work. And you'll have alittle pick at the food that's been dished up (todayit was Fajita's, so that was nice finger food til I had to go home). Then, at 5 O'clock when everyone is ready for shift, you've handed over the sections to the right people, I have 1/2 an hour til Ians all ready to go...so I just FAFF.

WE then get home, absolutely starving. So I cooked NACHO's (Man they were fab). Which was a bad idea. Cause that blew all our packing for the night. We got full, watched abit of tele....and then just got lazy. Ian was sorting out the computer, that got back today after being fixed. I just sat on the bed watching X-Factor and other shit on the tele........... Eventually getting bored of what was on the tele. So eversince have been on the computer.....FAFFING some more (I do apologise to the people I was talking to earlier, the internet kept cutting in and out, affecting MSN, so I gave up trying to keep signing in). It's out of connection at the moment, so I have to blab some shit until it comes back on so I can post this shit.

Ian's gone to bed, so I'm up all by myself listening to an assortment of Pink song's (which is quite fun). Some Me time to relax and chillout abit.

We are going on a week roadtrip down to Land's End this coming Thursday. We are going to visit Tom and Sarah in a small little village "Milton Abyss" (or something like that) for a pint at the local pub and maybe some lunch. Then it'll be random stops in places that look nice. Just spontaneous route down to Land's End. We finally get to se Cornwall and Dorset. People keep telling us it's beautiful down that area, so we thought why the fuck not. We are in England to see this sort of stuff.....so we are going. Just hope the weather stays nice like it is at the moment. We are having really nice days, Sun shining. But getting chilly nights, which just shows we have to appreciate the weather until it gets really depressing and dark and cold for the next few months before we leave. Ah man.

If you've got this far through this blog, CONGRATULATIONS, but from now on it's just gonna be plan shit I dribble now......SORRY.......

I'm having a couple of cups of MILO (fantastic drink to have at the end of the night, with al the caffiene in it...................).

I have 45 mins on my battery life before the computer dies, so hopefully I can post this before then. I dunno if I can dribble for 45 more mins.

I have less than a month before I see P!nk again.... I so can't wait. It's gonna be awesome. I'm trying to look out for a concert in Aus aswell. So if anyone has any information that would be useful for me...let me know. I really enjoyed her last concert. I can't wait to go with Ian. I wanna experience Dear Mr President with him. It's a favourite for him so that'll be cool. Ian's not as excited as I am on going, but I'm sure when he's there he'll love it.......

Our washing machine is making annoying noises....that it shouldn't be making...which is abit worrying.....it's stopped now....no it hasn't it just stopped spinning for alittle bit..........argh...it's going to drive me nuts........

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO............................................
The connections back on....you can save your eyes now.............

More Packing

We've had a busy day off today. We have gone into Woking to buy food for dinner and pressies for people. We bought Vania some choccies because she's been really stressed because of work, and bought her a pressie for her for her boys birthday. And Adtrid has had her operation so we bought her a card and some flowers and grapes (cause apparently she was craving them).

We've also done alot of sorting for our boxes to be sent away. Our room is finally organised so we can productively sort through the shit. Just having a break by having dinner (which was amazing by the way, even if I do say so myself.) It was Roast Lamb with Garlic Pots and Veg. It was delicious. And we are now watching a light hearted movie "Chasing Liberty" before we get stuck into more sorting and Cleaning the room so we can get to our bed........

I'm feeling quite tired after having only a few hours sleep last night. 3 o'clock by the time I went to sleep.

We also spoke to Ian on the net today. It was good to chat with him again. It was a shame Matt couldn't be with him (because of work), but it was good to speak to atleast one of them. We were talking about trying to go over and visit them in the Whitsunday's (if we don't try and work there) to catch up again. And I came to the conclusion that we only have around 90 sleeps in England before we go back home. That's quite scary. But exciting at the same time. It finally feels like we are leaving now, with all the packing getting sorted and doing final things for our travels. It's just really wierd to think this chapter of our lives is nearly over.

Enough of this morbid talk.....I'm off to watch the second half of the movie. Ciao.

London

When we last went with Booski, I finally got some pictures of the sculpture of the disabled artist that uses her feet to to do her artwork. She is apparently staying in this spot for about 18 months to represent disabled artists. The sculpture doesn't actually suit where it is, but is a good representation for the disabled artist. I do really like this sculpture. it's a shame it's not staying up for longer.

AFTER AFTER WORK

I got drunk after work tonight and saw Lewis and Stan and Cathrine and Anthony and Mikey and other people. We talked for awhile and tought Lewis what Naive ment. He's really funny...he has no idea........ I think I taught him that not every gay guy would want him if he saw him........

Steve Irwin Dies

Steve Irwin dies of a stingray's tail. It went straight through his heart, and the venom shut his blood circulation, dying instantly. He was filming a documentary about Dangerous Animals for Australian TV.

Wasn't his biggest fan. That's what you get when you try and "work" with dangerous animals.

Booski's News

Ian recieved an email from Alicia saying:

Sorry this is just a short message letting you know I'm great and still alive, working for Dr. Tony Ryan, the founder of RyanAir. Pay is great. Don't have internet just yet. House is great. Got marble bathroom. Will send pics soon. Restuarant still not open for public. Opens 8th Sept. Send my love to everybody.
