Superman/Clark Kent

We have decided to change our idea for the dress-up night for the hen weekend. I'm going as Superman and Ian's going as Clark Kent. I have most of my costume, I just need to get a cape now. My Tights arrived today. My costume doesn't look too bad actually. It's just ashame I have to wear tights. It looks really good tho. hehehe.

Ian's Encounter with Fame

this is Ian's encounter with Graham Norton a few years ago. ian was absolutely hammered and went up to Graham and said " I think your great" so many times when on his 3rd visit back he took a camera and asked Graham's friend to take a phjoto. I was watching by a pillar laughing my ass off. It was definately a highlight. Bless my Mister.

EuroPride - The Show

On Sunday 2nd July, we get to go to the Royal Albert Hall, for a fundraising event for EuroPride. Matt bought tickets yesterday. Don't know how much we owe just yet, but it's kind of exciting. I've always wanted to go to the Royal Albert Hall. Elton John, Graham Norton (who Ian's already met...hehehe), Heather Small (who we saw at the first Pride in London in 2003, she was awesome) and a couple of other guests. I hope I'm not too hungover when we go, cause the night before is when we party hard in London. Can't wait.

The Drink

Last night after work, I went out to "The Drink" in Guildford with Lauren. it was just a decision when we were at work that we were going to go out. It was really good. We saw Michael and his friends, who were already drunk by the time we got in. They were really funny. All in all I had a good night.

Aurelie Request

I have added another link. It is run by someone called Aurelie, and they had requested if they could use my review on Tracy Chapman. I accepted and am now on their website. Have a look at http://www.about-tracy-chapman.net/concerts_wyl2006_jun14-hampton-court.htm for my review (even though you can read it here, it's cool for me anyway). Or click on the link on the side and look at the whole site.

Pink - October 4th

I don't think I mentioned that I also have a Pink Concert coming up aswell. It'll be the second time I've gone to see her (and hopefully not the last). The last concert was awesome. So i've just attached acouple of photo's from the last concert for a taster of what I'm gonna expect again, a fantastic concert.

Pride This Weekend

Yay. Only 7 shifts of work before I get more time off. We are celebrating Pride in London (this year is EuroPride, so it'll be bigger than ever) this coming weekend. Can't wait. The life I live could never be better. Just back from Paphos, then 5 days later to Pride, then another 10 days later I go to Portugal. I love this Month.

World Cup - Socceroos

While in Paphos (the Thursday night I got drunk), we watched the Australia v Croatia game which ended in a draw and qualified us for the Quater Finals. It was the first time we actually got right into the game. It was awesome. Australia now play Italy. I dunno how we will go against them, cause I have no idea about Soccer at all. Lets hope they can make it through, altho I'm not that sure they will. You never know. We'll see. They've got further than we all have thought, so "GO The Socceroos"

Paphos

Awesome few days. It was hot, got a nice sun tan. Met a couple of guys from Birmingham, who were wikkid. I got drunk on the thursday night and knocked on their door to see if they wanted to go out on Friday (which they accepted) and we got hammered on the Friday. Did karaoke (sang to Hanson's - MmmmBop, classic) and drank "Fishbowls" (loads of alcohol).

On the Saturday, we got a bus to Coral Bay. By the end of the trip there were a few speed bumps which made me throw up as soon as I got off the bus. I felt much better afterwards but slept on the beach for most of the day (except for the 20 mins we were on a jetski... which was so much fun).

Paphos was very English, but if had the chance again, I'd definately go again. It was cheap to get there (£260 for the 2 of us for flights, accomodationa nd transfers), but the cost of everything while we were there was about the same as being in England.

Mum Called

Yay. My mum called me today. She's been trying about 8 times the past few days, strange cause I was home when she was calling. I probably just ignored the phone. But she's all good.

Everyone at home is all good, but it's Great Gran's birthday next month so I have to quickly get a card.

The Morning After

I don't feel too bad actually. Yay for me. I'm just really tired. I woke up around 7 this morning cause i could breath through my nose, and in the process woke ian up and he hasn't been back to sleep since. He was keeping me up for awhile but i ended up going for a quick sleep when Ian went to do some washing at work (washing machine fucked again). But I'm just really shattered at the moment. Need more sleep.

Yay. One More sleep to Cyprus. One More Sleep To Cyprus.

I'm excited.

Work

Today at work, there was this kid on one of my tables who was really sweet. He went to Vania to say thank you for a lovely meal (he had scampi, not that that matters) and Vania was chuffed. She kissed his hand and introduced herself as "Big Mama Vania" and she nearly cried. It was really sweet.

My Photo's - More From Last Holiday at Home

Holiday

Next weeks plans to Cornwall maywell be changed to Greece, fingers-crossed anyway.

Last night at work, Astrid was telling us we could stay with her in August to stay in Dorset. Which is cool, cause it's close to Cornwall (close enough anyway) and we can hire a car for a couple of days to go to the Eden Project ect. And vege at the house for the rest of the week.

The only problem that we have come across is, it's bloody difficult to get cheap flights to Greece. Ian really needs to have a break because work is stressing him out. I really want us to go to Mykonos. It's sounds great for us. I wanna go.

I'll have to wait and see what the day brings.

Grace Got Out

Grace was evicted with 87.9% of votes.

She also threw water over Susie like a childish twat. She deserves to be out, no matter how good her interview was. It was bad to throw water over Susie because it should of happened earlier wehen she was going to be in the house to get the follow on of the incident.

She deserves to be out. Yay.

Eviction 4 : England Big Brother

Eviction between Grace and Nikki is on tonight (GET GRACE OUT NOW). My wish may come true of Grace getting a higher vote out bigger than Seezer's.

Going by a poll on FMForums: Grace has polled 91.59%
Nikki has polled 8.41%

Don't like either of them, but Grace is a definate goner tonight. Yay. I'll leave the official results later.

Shayne Ward - "Stand By Me"

Shayne has released a new song (his 3rd to date). It's not as good as the last single "No Promises", but it's not bad. A typical ballad which will do alright amongst the female fans.

Get Grace Out!

After the chanting from last weeks Eviction of Sam. And with Grace getting nominated for eviction this week by Susie. Grace is definately a goner. But will she beat Seezers highest ever eviction percentage? We can only hope.

Vote Grace Out.

Tracy Chapman

Wow. It was a fantastic concert. I loved it.

It was really good cause it was laid back and she played all the typical songs, plus a couple of my favourite songs that are "fillers" on her cd's. She played a couple of songs from all her albums. "Changes", "Mountain o' Things", and "America" were a couple of my favourites.

It was alittle bit cold tonight, and Tracy had to stop through one of her songs because her hands were too cold to play the guitar. She was alittle embarressed, but it was funny. She made a comment later that she wanted a car because after saying she needed gloves, she ended up getting something to help warm her hands.

The Stage was very simple but played lights against the panels to give it a different part of the day (eg dusk, dawn, midday ect.) for different songs to set the mood.

I can't wait to see her again (if I ever get the chance, I'm definately going to jump at the opportunity to see her again)

I have some photo's which I'll add here when i put them on the computer.

Guildford Lido

Today has been a fantastic day. The weather has been amazing the past week with temperatures being mid to late 20's, so my tan is slowly coming along, which is great.

Today we went for luch at White Hart in Purbright with Tommy, Michael and Lauren. It was nice to have a few pints of beer and lunch with a couple of friends, with fantastic weather.

Afetrwards, Lauren, Michael, Ian and myself went to Guildford Lido (swimming pool, odd name, I know). It was fantastic. It was Ian's first time in a pool since we've been in England (as you all know I went a few weeks ago to do laps). It was great to perve at some guys. There was a fit foreigner playing frisbee with his mates, he kept me occupied while i was sun baking.

Goya

Goya is one of my favourite artist of all time. These two paintings are my alltime favourite. "Satan devouring his son" is the first painting that I had such an enthusiastic feeling towards. "The Dog drowning in quicksand" is just as dark as the other painting. He was just an amazing artist.

Julien Beever

This Guy Is amazing with 3D illusions. He's just an amazing artists. Here he has painted a room so that a floating box with a cross can be seen if you stand in the right position. His website is http://users.skynet.be/J.Beever/pave.htm . Have a look and see all his amazing murals and pavement drawings.

Kate Eastough

This Is my best mate from school. Her blog is attached on the side. If you wanna have a look, do so.

I miss her to bits. I'm glad she's on the same side of Australia as I am now. I can't wait to get beck home to see her.

I love you babe. xxx

Cornwall!

Unfortunately, Cornwall has been poseponed for a week because work needed us. Tom's Grandfathers funeral is on next week so we changed it for the week ofter to go away. We now get a week off...... which is even better. Just hope the weather holds up for us.

Cornwall

Steve (manager), hasn't put us on for 4 days an the rota for next week. So we've decided to go to cornwall for a couple of days after the Tracy Chapman concert. It's cool because we are now trying to figure out when we can go see all the places we want to and this is a unexpectedbonus for us, another couple of days holiday for us. Yay.

We are going to go to Land's End just to say we've been. We are going to go to The Eden Project. And toLulworth Cove, which looks beautiful. I'll upload some photo's after we go.

Beautiful Day Outside

Is a beautiful day outside, first nice day for the summer. Can't wait til it becomes a regular occurance. I'm gonna go outside and get a free tan, make use of the sun while it's around.

It's getting to the exciting part of the year where everything is happening. Squash everyweek. Concerts (Tracy Chapman and P!nk). Trip around England (if we get off our fat asses). Trip to Paris with Ian's Mum when they come over in September. Hopefully Florida (for Disneyland if we can afford it). Then our going away party, birthdays, back home ect........ yay for me.

Ian's getting scared of these birds that are nesting in our courtyard. He's scared that they are going to fly into our room, and we won't be able to get it out.

Anyway, I'm gonna go and top up my tan so i can attempt to be sexy for Portugal.

Big Brother England: Seezer Has Been Evicted

Seezer has been evicted with the highest number of votes ever on England Big Brother. 91.6% later, and the most arrogent contestant had to leave. Bless him thinking that people would vote for him because he's hot.

Whitsundays

We have had an offer to work in the Whitsundays when we get back to Australia. So that may be an option that we are seriously looking into doing when we get back. I can't wait, it looks beautiful around the area. I can even learn to scuba dive (if I get rid of my fear of the things in the sea).

A couple of our friends (Matt and Ian) are going over in a couple of months and told us about it, and join them when we get back, so can't wait.....

Swimming

I went swimming with Lauren yesterday. Man was I stuffed afterwards.

My body was aching after work the night before anyway. We ended up doing 20 laps of the 25meter pool, which is pretty piss poor, but it was better than nothing.

Apparently now, Ian has organised with Tamara that we are going next week aswell, which will be a weekly accurance, argh. I used to always swim and loved it, now it seems to much effort. Well see how that pans out.

We have also organised to go to the leisure pool (with slides and stuff afterwards (which I can't wait for). Yay.
